Dubai, UAE – XX February 2021: XXX, the super-contractor forged of Dubai-based main-contractor ALEC, and BUTEC, a design-build industrial contractor has announced that environmental sustainability will be a key component of the venture’s offering, a response to the UAE’s rank as a top ten performing country in terms of LEED accreditation.

According to a recent report, Dubai has ranked third in a list of global cities with the highest number of LEED-certified buildings, with the UAE also making the top ten list with its 600+ LEED-certified projects. The move comes at a time as contractors around the world scramble to implement more sustainable practices as a way to maximise margins by lowering development costs, while developers turn their attention towards reducing operational costs, as well as providing a healthier environment for occupants.
